A Unique Role with a Regal Theme
When Kou and Eric planned their wedding, they envisioned a regal theme—one filled with elegance, drama, and a touch of fantasy. Among the wedding party, Hannah was honored with the title of “Prince’s Advisor.”
Her challenge? To create an outfit worthy of the role. The parameters were clear:
It needed to appear regal
Incorporate warm tones
Include shiny, metallic accents
Hannah came to me for help in bringing this vision to life.
Choosing the Perfect Pattern & Fabric
After reviewing several options, we selected Vogue Pattern V1239 – Chado by Ralph Rucci. This pattern was anything but simple—its fitted silhouette and unique shoulder and sleeve construction required precision and careful alterations, especially since we needed to lengthen the gown for the perfect look.
For the fabric, Hannah chose a reversible brocade in rich burgundy and gold. The warm tones paired beautifully with the metallic sheen, giving the garment a luxurious, almost royal quality.
Bringing the Outfit Together
Once the gown was complete, Hannah styled the look with elfin-inspired boots and shimmering jewelry—the perfect nod to the wedding’s storybook atmosphere. The overall effect was stunning: elegant, unique, and perfectly suited to the title of Prince’s Advisor.
On the wedding day, Hannah truly embodied the role, looking every bit as regal as the occasion demanded.

Tips for a Regal Wedding Attendant Look
If you’re ever tasked with creating a wedding outfit that fits a unique theme, here are a few tips from this project:
Start with a strong color palette: Warm tones, jewel tones, or metallics instantly create a luxe feel.
Choose fabric with texture or sheen: Brocade, satin, or velvet can transform a simple design into something dramatic.
Let accessories tell part of the story: Jewelry, shoes, and even hairpieces can reinforce the theme beautifully.
The Final Result
Hannah looked absolutely breathtaking on the wedding day—her gown fit the theme perfectly, and she brought the role of Prince’s Advisor to life with style and grace.
